As a flight attendant, I crossed the globe before the pandemic struck, and now I've arrived at the massive destination of data science as a total novice to the world of coding. I completed the first PG Diploma in Data Science from upGrad and IIITB in 2016. In 2022, I completed the Master's program in Data Science from LJMU. Liked the new learnings gained, while maintaining the flexibility for working professionals.

I started my journey with upGrad in April 2020 after registering for the masters's program. It was an extremely satisfying and joyful learning journey for me. The way the program is structured into weekly modules gave me an achievable learning goal every week. And since each module comes with quizzes, I managed to get a great understanding of all the concepts in the first try. Simply put, upGrad has managed to "gamify" the learning experience for me. The end result is my switch from a software engineer to a data scientist in just one year, mostly aided by the learning materials on upGrad. I particularly liked the group projects and coaching sessions. The industry sessions and post program learning content and support is just as helpful as the course content itself, and the industry mentors have been very helpful in shaping up my career. I would like to thank everyone associated with upGrad and wish you all the very best!

I am thankful to the upGrad team for helping me to upskill in AI and machine learning. I was looking for a course in different universities abroad on AI and machine learning, but the plan got canceled due to the covid pandemic. Then, I came across upGrad and the courses provided by various universities. At first, I was not sure, but then I went ahead with upGrad. It was a good decision and the journey was fruitful. The upGrad team and my upGrad buddy, the LJMU team and professors, and the thesis supervisor were very supportive and helped me throughout the difficulties. The team has done a great job organizing the meetings with the LJMU, IIIT-Bangalore, industry experts, mentors, small group sessions, etc. The upGrad portal is user-friendly and organized, thus making my life easier throughout my course. They have always helped me upskill in every way possible, thus helping me build a strong foundation and achieve my career goals. The career team in upGrad has given me opportunities to attend interviews and arranged meetings to upskill our knowledge which helped me get the job. Thus, I was able to make a career transition into a data analyst role. Once again, I would like to thank the team for helping me in my career journey.
